SPIDERS.

Let's speak frankly: spiders are spooky. Eight thin threaten legs, the head, thorax and abdomen, the fangs full of poison... In this report I will tell you about some of the most dangerous spiders that we can find in Spain.

Black widow.

This spider has got a very big abdomen. Its poison can be dangerous, specially for children. They usually make their webs between bushes: rockroses, rosemaries, thymes and lavenders are their favourite plants.


Mediterranean tarantula.

It is a big spider (more than 14 cm) Its poison is not very dangerous; but the bite is painful.. It hunts at night, keeping hidden during the day. Tarantula is one of the most beautiful spiders that we can find in our country.


Brown recluse spider.

The most dangerous one. When it bites you, you don't feel anything. But after two hours, you start to suffer a sharp pain. They love dark places. Many times they are hidden in shoes or clothes. If you are in the countryside and you have took off your shoes remember to look inside before wear them.
